Better water supply for 50 households

KUCHING: The Supply, Delivery, Laying and Testing of The Proposed 160mm Outer Diameter High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Main Extension at Kampung Gita project worth RM328,503 is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2022.

According to the Kuching Water Board (KWB) in its statement on Friday (Oct 15), the completion of the project will benefit and improve water supply for about 50 households residing at Kampung Gita, Sungai Maong Resettlement Scheme and the surrounding areas.

The project site handover was given to the appointed contractor M/S P.J.P. Enterprise and was witnessed by Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.

Also present during the ceremony was KWB general manager Rodziah Mohamad, representatives from village development and security committees (JKKKs), and respective community leaders.
