KUCHING: Borneo Empurau Farm & Resort will join the upcoming Star Carnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia at Plaza Merdeka this weekend, October 17–19, offering free vouchers to visitors.
The three-day carnival will feature over 70 booths showcasing tourism destinations, travel agencies, and local food industries.
Borneo Empurau Farm & Resort booth will be located near the main entrance of Plaza Merdeka, where visitors can take part in lucky draws and learn more about the farm’s educational and family-friendly offerings.

Director Abdullah Jawi said the resort is honoured to be invited to take part in the roadshow-style event, which marks the first time the farm is directly engaging the public through a city exhibition.
“We’re very grateful to the Star Carnival organisers for inviting us.
“This is our first time meeting customers face-to-face outside our resort, and we’re excited to give back to those who have supported us,” he told Sarawak Tribune today.

The highlight of the weekend will be a series of daily lucky draws, where visitors stand a chance to win family, adult and kid’s packages to the Borneo Empurau Farm & Resort, including special access to the resort’s popular water theme park.
To participate, visitors simply need fill details online, like and share the resort’s social media pages, and submit their names for the draw.
Winners will be announced daily throughout the carnival.
Beyond prizes, the farm aims to raise awareness about Sarawak’s agrotourism potential.

Located at Tarat, Serian, the resort features a mini zoo, water theme park, and hands-on learning experiences for families, schools and corporate groups.
“Our goal is not just tourism, but education. Visitors can learn about agriculture, livestock, and nature in an interactive environment.

“We want to show how fun and meaningful agrotourism can be for families and students alike,” Abdullah said.
The Star Carnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia runs from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm daily, from Friday to Sunday.
Visitors are encouraged to join the lucky draw and explore the best of Sarawak’s local attractions.
