BINTULU: The Bintulu Marathon 2025 is set to return on August 3 at the Old Bintulu Airport site, promising a more exciting and larger event.

Organised by the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA), the marathon aims to enhance the city’s reputation as a premier sports and tourism hub.

A BDA spokesperson emphasised, “The Bintulu Marathon is not just a sporting event – it is also an opportunity to showcase Bintulu’s unique charm and beauty.

“The race route will pass several iconic landmarks, offering participants a truly memorable experience.”

The marathon will feature four main categories includes, Full Marathon (42KM) – The ultimate endurance challenge, Half Marathon (21KM) – A test of stamina and resilience, Competitive Run (10KM) – Ideal for experienced runners and Fun Run (6KM) – Open to all age groups.

All participants will receive an official event T-shirt, an exclusive medal, and cash prizes for top finishers. Hydration stations and medical support will be provided along the route to ensure runner safety.
