MIRI: A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after being involved in a road accident at Jalan Krokop here, last Sunday evening.
The 38-year-old man was said to be heading to the city centre from Krokop 10 when the accident occurred at 7.30pm after he collided into a car that was about to turn into a road junction.
Following the collision, the victim sustained injuries to his legs after being thrown off his machine.
He was later taken to Miri Hospital for treatment via an ambulance.
Meanwhile in a separate incident, a housewife is fortunate to escape unhurt after the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) she was travelling in crashed into a drain at Jalan Pujut Padang Kerbau, here yesterday morning.
It was said that the 55-year-old woman was travelling along the road when the vehicle suddenly went out of control and crashed into the drain at around 8.00am.
