BINTULU: The Bintulu Bidar Challenge 2025 event, which was scheduled to take place from July 19 to 23, has been postponed to a new date that will be announced later.
Following the postponement, the organisers have also cancelled all sales activities planned for the event.
According to a statement from the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA), the decision was made after considering several unavoidable factors to ensure the smooth running and safety of the event in the future.
“We understand the disappointment of vendors and visitors who have made preparations to participate in this programme.
“However, this decision was made after considering various technical and logistical aspects that need to be addressed first,” said BDA in the statement on Thursday.
At the same time, BDA also apologised for any inconvenience caused and assured that the new date for the event would be announced shortly once all event arrangements are rescheduled.
Meanwhile, vendors who have made payments for sales lot applications are asked to visit the PERBINDA Counter at the PERBINDA office for refund processing starting July 15 during office hours.
To facilitate this process, vendors are requested to bring supporting documents such as a copy of their bank account number, original payment receipt, and a copy of their identity card.
