BINTULU: Embracing the spirit of Ramadan, Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) strengthened its bond with the community through its Safari Ramadan Programme at Al-Amin Mosque, Kuala Tatau.
The programme, organised under the Bintulu Port Prihatin initiative, was also joined by BPHB’s Islamic Welfare Committee (JKI) and the Bintulu Port Foundation.
The programme served as a platform to foster stronger Islamic brotherhood.
In addition to breaking fast together, the event was enriched by a special religious talk delivered by Wan Mohd Sayuti Wan Sulaiman, assistant Imam of Assyakirin Mosque, Bintulu, followed by the Maghrib and Isyak congregational prayers.
As a gesture of support for the local place of worship, BPHB donated a 75-inch Samsung Smart TV to Al-Amin Mosque, for use in its religious classes and lectures.
The contribution was presented by BPHB Group president and chief executive officer, Ruslan Abdul Ghani, to the chairman of the mosque’s management committee, Sahari Man.
