BLACKPINK star Jisoo has signed a global record deal with Warner Records. The announcement comes just days after the 30-year-old K-pop star revealed her debut solo mini-album, “Amortage”, will be released on February 14.
Expressing her excitement, Jisoo said: “I’m thrilled to embark on this new chapter of my musical journey. I feel like I’m just getting started, and I want to thank Blinks for their love and support. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to share this moment with Warner Records.”
Warner Records welcomed her on Instagram, stating: “We are excited to welcome Korean superstar singer, actress, and Blackpink member, Jisoo, to the Warner Records family!”
“Amortage” follows her 2023 single album “Me”, which featured the hit “Flower” and B-side “All Eyes On Me”.
Meanwhile, fellow Blackpink member Jennie recently announced that her debut solo album, “Ruby”, will be released on March 7, featuring collaborations with Dua Lipa, Doechii, Childish Gambino, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
Her first single, “Mantra”, was released in October, and she described the album as diverse: “Each song sounds different, and I hope the world gets to see Jennie and her music as they truly are.”
Blackpink is completed by Lisa and Rose, both 27.
