KUCHING: In conjunction with the upcoming World Blood Donor Day 2025, a blood donation campaign will be held on Wednesday, June 4, at the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank.

The campaign, which will run from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, aims to help maintain a sufficient and stable blood supply for patients in need of medical treatment, emergencies and surgeries.

It is open to all eligible donors, who are encouraged to eat proper meals, stay hydrated, and bring their MyKads or valid identification for registration, according to a press statement by Malaysian Red Crescent Sarawak (MRCS) Stampin Branch on Thursday.

Organised in collaboration with the Malaysian Red Crescent Sarawak (MRCS) Stampin Branch, the campaign forms part of a broader initiative to raise public awareness on the importance of regular blood donations.

“We hope that more members of the public will take this opportunity to step forward and donate blood,” it said.

“Every drop counts and can make a life-saving difference.”

For more information, members of the public may contact Wendy at 019-8182244.
