SIBU: The Sibu Hospital Blood Bank is appealing to the public to come forward and donate blood.
In a recent statement, it said that the hospital’s supply has reached a critically low level across all blood groups.
“Recently, there has been a surge in blood usage, particularly for emergency and continuous bleeding cases, which has significantly reduced our stock.
“We sincerely urge you to donate blood at the Sibu Hospital Blood Bank,” the statement said.
The blood bank operates from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4.30 pm, and is closed on weekends and public holidays.
“Dedicated parking for donors is also available,” it added.
