KUCHING: BMW Regas Premium Auto hosted an exclusive launch event at its showroom today, featuring the debut of the 2025 BMW X3 xDrive20 M Sport.
The event included a special collaboration with vivo Kuching, held in conjunction with the nationwide launch of the vivo X Fold5, which was streamed live from vivo’s Malaysia HQ in Kuala Lumpur.
The collaboration between BMW and vivo was exclusive to Kuching, with both brands coming together in a joint showcase at the Regas Premium Auto dealership on Jalan Tun Jugah.
BMW Genius Amirul Asyraf of BMW Regas Premium Auto presented an in-depth explanation of the all-new BMW X3, highlighting its expanded dimensions, refreshed exterior design, and state-of-the-art driver assistance features.
The fourth-generation SUV, locally assembled (CKD) in Kulim, Kedah, is priced at approximately RM352,063.36 on-the-road (OTR) without insurance but includes BMW’s BSRI five-year extended warranty and service package.
The new X3 features all-wheel drive and a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system, and is larger than its predecessor with dimensions measuring 4,755 mm in length (+34 mm), 1,920 mm in width (+29 mm), 1,660 mm in height (-25 mm), and a 2,865 mm wheelbase (+1 mm).
Meanwhile, the key exterior highlights include a pearl chrome illuminated kidney grille (BMW Iconic Glow), adaptive LED headlamps with twin L-shaped DRLs, 19-inch Y-spoke M alloy wheels, flush door handles, and distinctive rocket-shaped tail lamps with mid-line indicators.
On the safety and assistance front, the new X3 is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including autonomous emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane-keeping assist, active lane change warning, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, exit warning, and rear collision prevention.
