BINTULU: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) used one of its aircraft, a AW189, to transport a male patient who was in a critical condition from here to the Sarawak Heart Centre in Kota Samarahan on Tuesday (Oct 13).
In a statement issued, the department used their AW189 aircraft to carry out the transfer of a 23-year-old patient.
Previously, the 23-year-old patient was treated at the Bintulu Hospital intensive care unit (ICU) for Missed Anterior Myocardial Infarction Kilip IV.
The patient has Cardiac Arrhthymia – Ventricular Tachycardia and requires immediate treatment at the Sarawak Heart Centre.
The aircraft also flew the medical officer and nurses involved in the case.
