SIBU: The Lanang Community Volunteer Fire Brigade (LCVFB) has contributed food supplies in support of the upcoming Sibu Fire & Rescue (Bomba) Charity Run 1.0, demonstrating its continued commitment to community service and partnership with emergency responders.
Their cooperation reinforces the spirit of volunteerism and collaboration ahead of the community event.
The contribution is aimed at assisting the organisers in ensuring the smooth execution of the charity run, reflecting the close cooperation between Bomba, volunteer fire brigades and the wider community.
Scheduled to take place on Aug 16 (Sun), the event will begin at 6 am at the Sungai Merah Bomba Station, where participants from various backgrounds are expected to gather in support of a common cause.
LCVFB Captain Daniel ling Shii Ngie said the initiative represents their unwavering support for programmes that strengthen public engagement with the fire and rescue service while fostering stronger ties among volunteer organisations and local residents.
