LAWAS: A Digi telecommunication genset transmitter was caught in a fire at Kampung Siang-Siang here, earlier today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call around 4.30pm from Telekom Malaysia (TM) regarding a burnt genset which was owned by Digi Company.
The fire was put out by a security guard.
TM then requested Bomba to despatch a team to inspect the burnt genset.
Digi Company informed the Bomba that the company will make repairs immediately and will not make any insurance claims.
