KUCHING: A festival titled BarkPark Borneo Fur Festival will be held at BarkPark’s ground in Saradise, here on October 14.
Organised by BarkPark, activities will include K-9 Bomba Dog demonstration, dog pool party, music, dances, fun dog shows and dog best dressed competition.
“The biggest highlight will be paw maids cosplay, and it will be an evening of fun, chill, food and games while helping the voiceless.
“Some of the food vendors that will be available include FED Bakery and Pasta, Binging Ears, Coconut Nectar, Baked by Paws (Pets Treat), hair accessories, carnival games and others,” BarkPark said in a press release.
For the record, BarkPark Borneo is an independent private dog park at the social heart to provide pets in Kuching to be able roam and run free, complimented by dog pool and spa, training centre as well as daycare and boarding house.
Its rescue arm, Furry Soup Kitchen is managed by a group of like-minded individuals with the aim to reduce strays here through promotion of responsible pet ownership, TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Release) technique and also offers comfort and food to strays through their independent feeders.
