LUNDU: Bouxite B emerged champions of the 2026 N3 Tanjong Datu Azizul Annuar Adenan Futsal Cup after edging Belia Sileng 1-0 in the final at the Lundu Sports Complex futsal court here today (July 12).
The victory earned Bouxite B the championship trophy, medals and RM2,000 in prize money, while runners-up Belia Sileng took home RM1,000, along with a trophy and medals.
Semi-finalists Horris B and Bajo Mix FT, who bowed out in the last four, were joint third-place finishers and each received RM500, as well as trophies and medals.
The prizes were presented by Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan. Also present was Political Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak Abang Abdul Aziz Datuk Abang Draup.
The two-day tournament, held from July 11 to 12, was organised by the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Wing of the N3 Tanjong Datu branch in collaboration with Belia Tertutup Lundu dan Sematan.
A total of 16 teams representing clubs and villages from Lundu and Sematan took part in the competition.
Besides providing a competitive platform for players to showcase their abilities, the tournament aimed to identify and nurture promising futsal talent from the Lundu and Sematan areas.
Organisers also hoped the event would strengthen friendship and unity among participants while encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle through sport.
