LUNDU: Bouxite B were crowned champions of the 2026 N3 Tanjong Datu Azizul Annuar Adenan Futsal Cup after edging Belia Sileng 1-0 in the final at the Lundu Sports Complex futsal court on Sunday (July 12).
The victory earned Bouxite B the championship trophy and RM2,000 in prize money, while Belia Sileng settled for the runners-up prize of RM1,000.
Horris B and Bajo Mix FT shared third place after their semi-final exits, with both teams receiving RM500.
Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan presented the prizes. Also present was Political Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak, Abang Abdul Aziz Datuk Abang Draup.
Organised by the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Wing of the N3 Tanjong Datu branch in collaboration with Belia Tertutup Lundu dan Sematan, the two-day tournament was held from July 11 to 12.
A total of 16 teams representing clubs and villages from Lundu and Sematan competed in the tournament, which provided local players with an opportunity to test themselves in a competitive environment while identifying promising futsal talent.
Beyond the competition, organisers hoped the event would strengthen ties among youths from both districts while encouraging greater participation in sport and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
