MIRI: A two-vehicle collision involving a Proton Iriz and a Perodua Kancil occurred on the Miri-Bintulu Road today (Jan 10).
he Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Operations Centre received an emergency call at 12.35 pm and dispatched a team from the Miri Central Fire and Rescue Station.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that all victims had been rescued by civilians.
The Proton Iriz had three occupants, while the Perodua Kancil had only one, believed to be the driver.
The driver of the Kancil was taken to the Bekenu Health Clinic by Ministry of Health (MoH) personnel prior to the firefighters’ arrival.
The fire department conducted cleaning operations at the scene to clear oil spills and debris, ensuring the area was safe for traffic flow.
