KUCHING: Interhill Group has launched a group-wide corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign in collaboration with the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS) in aid of children affected by childhood cancer and their families.
Known as ‘Interhill Cares: Bringing Christmas Cheer’, its statement said that the campaign which runs from Nov 6 until Dec 22 aims to spread warmth, kindness and festive joy to its target audience via monetary contributions and contributions of essential items from Interhill Group’s staff, residents of its property developments, and tenants, patrons and guests of its investment assets.
The Group’s Head of Corporate Communications, Caroline Yeo said that it believed in extending and promoting the spirit of giving back to the local communities.
As such, she said, this time around, it will be inviting staff, residents of Urban Residences Kuching and The Wharf Condominium Miri, tenants at Wisma Interhill Miri and also patrons and guests of Pullman Kuching, Pullman Miri Waterfront and The Hills Kuching to come together in support of SCCS and its causes through contribution of essential items such as diapers, milk powder and toys and monetary contributions.
“In fact, collection points have been set up at participating properties to collect such essential items.
“Indeed, Christmas is a time for giving. Together, let us stand in solidarity in spreading our message to those in need that they are not alone, that they are not forgotten.
“Through such contributions, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these children and their families in ways we can,” she said.
