KUCHING: The brother of Mr X who died in a fire has been identified yesterday afternoon as 36-year-old
Affendy ak Jupa.
Upon hearing of a fire at their house, Affendy immediately went to the morgue of Sarawak General Hospital to identify his deceased brother.
He said the deceased lived in the house with their parents and during
the weekend they returned to their village. Affendy who is a bachelor is the second in the family and sells
vegetables at the Kota Sentosa wet market with their mother.
The hospital will conduct a DNA test to determine the identity of the deceased as the deceased was burnt beyond recognition.
