KUCHING: SABERKASBukit Semuja Branch have clinched their first-ever title at the SABERKAS President’s Cup Futsal Championship 2026 after a dramatic final.
The crowd favourites defeated SABERKAS Satok Branch 3-2 in a penalty shootout following a 3-3 draw at full time in the final held here today.
The victory saw the Saberkas Bukit Semuja Branch players take home a cash prize of RM7,000, along with a trophy and medals.
Runners-up SABERKAS Satok Branch received RM5,000, a trophy and medals.


SABERKAS Lingga Branch and Pelagus Branch, who were eliminated in the semi-finals, each received RM3,000, a trophy and medals as joint third-place finishers.
The prize presentation ceremony was officiated by SABERKAS Sarawak secretary-general Dr Safiee Ahmad and attended by Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus and Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim.
The two-day tournament, held on May 1 and 2, featured 34 teams.
