KUCHING: A regional celebration of youth culture, sports, and entrepreneurship will take over the Kuching Waterfront Central from May 23 to 25, as CanRoll Festival 2025 returns with a mission to connect and empower young people across Sarawak, Sabah, and Brunei.
Organised by Canard Group Malaysia, the three-day festival is not only a showcase of extreme sports and creativity, but also a platform for fostering cross-border collaboration and promoting healthy, active lifestyles among youth communities.
“CanRoll is more than just a sports event — it’s a movement for youth expression, connection, and growth,” Canard Group Malaysia said in a statement.
It then stated that participants can expect an action-packed schedule featuring skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX flatland, and watersport showcases, along with live demos, competitions, and a youthpreneur zone spotlighting local talents and creative enterprises.
The festival also offers opportunities for learning and networking through community meet-ups, talks, and hands-on workshops, complemented by local food trucks and interactive pop-up activities that reflect the region’s diverse youth culture.
By bringing together athletes, creatives, and young entrepreneurs from across Borneo, CanRoll Festival 2025 aims to serve as a catalyst for regional unity and youth-driven development.
Schools, youth groups, and sports organisations are encouraged to participate as attendees, partners, or collaborators.
