MIRI: Two 19-year-old boys were killed when the car they were travelling in crashed into a tree in front of SJK (C) Chung Hua Tudan, along Jalan Kuala Baram Bypass here.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department’s (Bomba) Operations Centre said the incident was reported at around 2:30 am today.
“Both victims were found trapped inside the vehicle. After they were extricated, paramedics confirmed that they had died at the scene,” it said in a statement.
Their bodies were later handed over to the police for further action.
