SIBU: The Sibu Parliamentary Constituency P.212 Service Centre has announced cash rewards for outstanding students who excelled in the 2024 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
Sibu Member of Parliament, Oscar Ling Chai Yew, said any candidate who is a registered voter in the Sibu Parliamentary Constituency, and has achieved at least 5A+ grades in the 2024 SPM examination, can apply for a cash reward.
He stated that those who meet the above criteria should submit a copy of their 2024 SPM result slip and a copy of their identity card (both front and back) to the Sibu DAP Headquarters at Rejang Park (No 67, 1st & 2nd Floor, Rejang Park Commercial Centre) by 4pm, May 7.
Further mentioning that successful applicants will be notified by phone, he said applicants are requested to submit their documents during the Service Centre’s office hours, which are from 8:00 am to noon and 1:30 pm to 4;00 pm.
He explained that this is an annual reward programme initiated by his service centre to recognise outstanding achievements in the 2024 SPM examinations.
“Applicants must have achieved at least 5A+ grades, and their identity card address must fall within the Sibu Parliamentary Constituency,” Ling added.
