BINTULU: The launch of the Customer Centric Centre (CCC) by Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) yesterday (Mon) reflected the commitment of the Bintulu Port operator towards innovation, sustainability and service excellence.

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development of Sarawak, Datuk Majang Renggi, stated that the development of the CCC was a significant step in the transformation of Bintulu Port to meet the future demands of a greener and more competitive environment.

“The CCC is not just a new operational centre but a symbol of how BPHB prioritises customer-focused innovation while supporting Sarawak’s sustainable development agenda,” he said.

He made these remarks during his speech at the launch of the CCC and BPHB’s Sustainability Initiative at BPHB’s Container Complex, Tanjung Kidurong Road yesterday..

He explained that the CCC would streamline the management of visitors and contractors, centralise customer services and enhance port entry protocols, thereby improving safety and the user experience.

According to Majang, today’s ports must not only serve as gateways for trade but also as models for green growth and smart innovation.
