SIBU: Former Kapit District Officer Cerisologo Sabut has officially begun his duties as the new Kanowit District Officer, effective yesterday (Jan 2).
A handing-over-of-duties ceremony was held at the Sibu Division Resident’s Office, witnessed by Sibu Division Resident Abang Mohamad Porkan Abang Budiman.
Another handing-over-of-duties session also took place in which the duties of Rajang Central Regional Development Agency (MiRRDA) Special Administrative Officer Kathreen Lalai Eddie Saga were transferred to Jackline August @ August Jahar.
Jackline assumed her duties as MiRRDA’s Special Administrative Officer starting yesterday, while Kathreen will be joining the Ministry of Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development as Deputy Permanent Secretary.
Kathreen is scheduled to report for duty on Jan 6.
