KUCHING: All Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs) in Sarawak will operate from 8am to 4.30pm during the Ramadan month from April 12 to May 11.
The Ministry of Finance has agreed that this new operating hour applies on Monday to Sunday without break time.
However, except on Fridays, there will be break time for those that need to perform the Friday prayers, it will be from 11.30am to 2pm.
While all UCTs in Sarawak will operate from 8am to 1pm on May 12, they will be closed during the first day of Hari Raya, May 13 until May 16.
All UTCs in Sarawak will resume operation as usual on May 17.
