KUCHING: The Christmas spirit will fill the air this festive season with the return of the Christmas Charity Concert 2025: Carols of Peace, an event that brings together music, compassion and community for a noble cause.

The concert will be held at the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) Hall here this November 29 at 7:30 pm.

The concert, organised by the Kuching Choral Society in collaboration with the Kuching Wind Symphony, promises a heartwarming evening featuring performances by the Kuching Wind Symphony, St Joseph’s Private School Concert Band, Kuching Choral Society Choir, and D’Quaver Strings Quartet.

The event, supported by the Malaysian Choral Music and Band Association (MCMBA), will offer the audience a musical celebration of peace, love and hope while promoting the joy of giving during the Christmas season.

In the spirit of charity, all proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Home of Peace, an elderly care home at Jalan Landeh, Kota Padawan, to help sustain the home’s operations and improve the welfare of its residents.

“The Christmas Charity Concert embodies the values of compassion, generosity, and unity. Each performance and every contribution will help bring joy to the residents of the Home of Peace, reminding us of the importance of caring for one another,” the organising committee said in a statement.

The concert’s theme, ‘Carols of Peace’, reflects its goal of spreading harmony and hope through music, a universal language that bridges hearts across communities.

Tickets are available through the official event portal at mcmba.com.my, with limited seats offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Kuching Choral Society and Kuching Wind Symphony invite everyone to make this Christmas a season of peace and joy for all.
