Chinese chambers of commerce attend gala dinner

KUCHING: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) cum Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI) was invited to the 78th Anniversary and Youth Committee 17th Anniversary Gala Dinner of Terengganu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCCI) in Terengganu recently.
ACCCIS President, Datuk Tan Jit Kee in a statement said during the event, he had congratulated Senator Tan Sri Low Kian Chuan, President of TCCCI as the first Chinese Chamber leader to be appointed as a member of the Dewan Negara (Senate) of Malaysia.
According to Tan, Low is also the president of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM).
“We have also extended an invitation to Tan and ACCCIM’s constituent members to attend the KCGCCI 133rd Anniversary Gala Dinner, 77th Annual General Meeting of ACCCIM and 12th Young Entrepreneurs Conference of ACCCIM which will be held from July 6 to 8,” he said.
Also present at the event in Kuala Terengganu were Chinese Chamber of Commerce throughout Malaysia and overseas including Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.
