KUCHING: The annual Christmas Charity Concert, Carols of Peace 2025, hosted by the Kuching Choral Society (KCS) in collaboration with the Kuching Wind Symphony, successfully combined music, cultural harmony and charitable giving.
A key highlight of the evening was the presentation of a RM15,000 donation to Home of Peace, made possible through the generous support of guests, sponsors, performers and the local community.
The evening was attended by several dignitaries, including Batu Kitang assemblyman Datuk Lo Khere Chieng, Consul General of Indonesia in Sarawak Dr Abdullah Zulkifli and his spouse Ibu Gusti Nirmala Zulkifli.
Other notable guests included chairman and conductor of KCS Benedict Lo, director of Kuching Wind Symphony Wilson Tan, chairman of Catholic Welfare Services Jacob Wong and matron of Home of Peace Sister Flora Tinggang.

KCS expressed gratitude to all performers, volunteers and sponsors for contributing to the event’s success.
The society said the support helps advance its mission of promoting music education, fostering cultural appreciation and engaging meaningfully with the community.
The charity concert is now a key fixture on Kuching’s festive calendar, bringing together music lovers and philanthropists alike in celebration of the season’s spirit.
