KUCHING: Chubbs officially launched its long-term partnership with S.O.S Kids on Feb 23, aiming to support needy families

Chubbs has taken its commitment a step further by launching a monthly campaign to collect essential supplies for children under the care of S.O.S Kids after a successful RM5,000 fundraising effort last September.

To mark the start of the campaign, 50 donors have already stepped forward, demonstrating the community’s dedication to the cause.

The campaign was launched by the SUPP Batu Lintang Branch chairman, Sih Hua Tong, here Sunday (Feb 23).

Sih praised Chubbs for its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and S.O.S Kids (Society for Critically Sick Children) to helping the children.

“It is heartening to see businesses like Chubbs giving back to the community.

“When a company adopts CSR, customers, clients, suppliers or even friends around them would support your business.

“This initiative has brought the Kuching community together, and I hope it continues to grow.

“Despite their many challenges, S.O.S Kids has never turned away from their mission.

“Through partnerships like this with Chubbs, they continue to make a real difference in the lives of these children and their families,” said Sih.

Meanwhile, S.O.S Kids President Constance Leong expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from Chubbs for the collaboration.

“We are incredibly thankful to Chubbs for their dedication and generosity.

“This partnership will make a huge difference in ensuring that we can continue providing care for the children who rely on us, and we are excited to see the community come together to support this cause.

“Together, we can make a lasting impact and bring hope to those who need it most,” she said.

To encourage participation, each donor will receive a cheeseburger and a bottle of mineral water as a thank-you gesture.

Cash contributions are also welcomed, ensuring that those who wish to help in other ways can still make a difference.

The campaign will take place every last Sunday of the month at Chubbs Jalan Tun Jugah branch.
