KUCHING: A clerk lodged a police report after her house at Jalan Foochow, was broken into by two thieves early yesterday.
The incident occurred around 5.00am when the victim was woken from her sleep after hearing some noise in the house.
She got out of her bedroom to check and then screamed for help when she saw a man in the house.
The suspect fled the scene and the victim ran to her room where she saw another man trying to break into her car which she had parked outside the house.
She screamed again for help but to no avail as she could only watched the man looking at her and waving to her before fleeing the scene in her car with his accomplice.
The victim reported losing a lap top and some cash. Police were investigating the case.
