SRI AMAN: The Sri Aman branch of the Land and Survey Department’s Social and Sports Club (LANDAS) has reached out to assist the fire victims of Kampung Tengah Sri Aman, who are currently being temporarily housed at the Dewan Seri Lemanak, Sri Aman.
The fire, which occurred on July 29 reportedly destroyed five houses and caused minor damage to three others.
The visit by LANDAS Sri Aman comprising the Divisional Land and Survey Superintendent, along with several club members was led by its chairman Michealson Nyisin.
During the visit, he handed over assistance in the form of food items, basic necessities, clothing, and cash to the fire victims. The aid was contributed by the staff of the Sri Aman Divisional Land and Survey Department.
The handover ceremony was witnessed by Batang Lupar MP Mohamad Shafizan Kepli who happened to be at the hall at the time to also meet with the fire victims.
