BINTULU: A house owner came across a metre-long cobra in front of his apartment in Gunasama quarters, Tanjung Datu, here today.
A Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) spokesman said his men received a distress call at 8.50 am and five personnel were despatched to the scene where they found the cobra hiding among discarded old items.
The cobra was captured and released into its natural habitat, away from the residential area.
