TATAU: The Tatau District Information Department (JaPen) recently visited the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) here to discuss collaborative programmes set to launch in February.

The MADANI Community x NADI Programme, introduced by Sarawak JaPen, aims to provide the MADANI Community with exposure to basic ICT skills training, online safety awareness, and other smart services offered by NADI, tailored to local needs.

“Tatau JaPen plans to organise this programme twice a month, specifically in the first and third weeks, involving up to 10 MADANI Community members per session.

“Participants will also have the opportunity to register as NADI members and learn about the available facilities. Membership registration is free,” Tatau JaPen said in a press release.

Previously, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil announced that Digital Economy Centers (PEDi) would be rebranded as National Information Dissemination Centers (NADI), effective March 1, 2024.

NADI serves as a collective internet access centre, a hub for disseminating accurate government information and policies, and a venue for skills development courses.
