KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) under Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has always focused on giving services to the community.
In stating this, Tupong Assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman pointed out that in his constituency alone, various issues have been raised by the people here.
“Since my constituency consists of those housing (perumahan) and village areas, they each have different issues.
“The village areas need infrastructure development while the housing areas raised matters such as on safety, social, welfare as well as difficulty in garbage disposal.
“As a party that always responds to the issues raised by the community, today we are doing a ‘gotong-royong’ for the folk here,” he said at a gotong-royong programme next to Surau Darul Rahman, Taman Won Matang on Saturday (July 2).
Fazzrudin the programme is proof that they always try to address the issues raised through the constituency’s branches and the village development and security committees (JKKK).
“We will always try to give our best to help the community in any way we can,” he added.
Meanwhile, touching on the programme, he explained that the residents here would need to put their garbage in bulk outside their houses for collection.
“Once collected by the lorry, it will be brought here for us to dispose of. But if there are any goods that are still in a good condition, we will send it to the charity bodies instead.
“So, today we are actually doing the gotong-royong and charity work at the same time,” he said.
