KUCHING: Nene Chicken Malaysia is now working towards obtaining a full report of the blast at CityOne Megamall.
“We are working with our CityOne outlet licensee and the CityOne Mall Management and giving our full cooperation to aid those affected and to help with the investigation,” said the company in a statement issued yesterday.
The statement expressed sadness over the loss of the three lives, and the injuries suffered by others. All immediate family members and next of kin have been notified about their situation, and will continue to receive updates as investigations go on.
As of now, members of the public are urged to respect the privacy of the families involved and refrain from sharing unconfirmed information.
“The company is giving assistance to those injured and affected by the incident, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased.
“We wish to offer our condolences to the three families of the deceased,” the statement concluded.
