KUCHING: Sarawak is expected to experience continuous rainfall between January 15 and 18, as a significant monsoon surge approaches.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) has forecast that this weather pattern will also affect the east and south of Peninsular Malaysia, as well as Sabah, during the same period.
“MET Malaysia continues to monitor the weather closely and will issue a continuous rainfall warning once the output from the weather forecast models reaches a high level of confidence,” the department said in a Facebook statement.
