KUCHING: The Kuching District Police Headquarters held a mass cleaning activity (gotong-royong) at Sarawak Society for Parents of Children with Special Needs (Pibakat) centre at Jalan Ong Tian Swee here yesterday.

Kuching Police District chief, ACP Abang Ahmad Abang Julai who attended the activity said it was held in conjunction with the 210th Police Day celebration.

“The objective of this activity is to raise awareness on the importance of preserving clean surroundings and to prevent diseases such as dengue and Malaria.

“This activity will also strengthen the relationship between members of the public and police,” he said.
