KOTA SAMARAHAN: A local man has gone missing in a suspected crocodile attack while catching freshwater prawns near Kampung Lubok Punggor yesterday (Sept 15).

The victim has been identified as Ahmad Alzadkhri Sudin, 32.

He had gone out with his family on a boat to catch prawns earlier in the morning before he was reported to have been dragged by the reptile at around 4pm.

The incident took place about 200 metres from the village, and an initial search by local villagers failed to locate the victim.
