MIRI: Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) hosted its 10th Civil and Environmental Engineering Research Conference (CEERC) here for final-year students to present their research in a setting that mirrors real-world engineering and industry conferences.
It was organised by the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering under its Faculty of Engineering and Science.
Held in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) Miri Branch, this year’s event featured multiple parallel presentation sessions showcasing innovative student-led work across civil and environmental engineering fields.
The conference was further elevated by two thought-provoking webinars delivered by industry leaders.
The conference was hailed for strengthening the link between academic research and industry practice.
By exposing students to expert perspectives and current engineering challenges, CEERC continues to nurture the next generation of engineers equipped to deliver sustainable, impactful solutions.
