The operation which was carried out around 11.30 am, used a JKDM Drug Detection Dog (APD) to inspect the company’s ‘Unclaimed Goods’ section.

According to Sarawak Customs director Norizan Yahya, the inspection led to the discovery of a suspicious parcel wrapped as a Christmas gift.

Further examination revealed the presence of ecstasy pills weighing approximately 1,780 grammes, with an estimated street value of RM297,260.

The illicit substances was concealed within the festive package.
