KUCHING: Cyberjaya College Kuching is set to expand its academic offerings with two franchised Bachelor’s Degree programmes, reinforcing its commitment to producing highly skilled graduates across a range of fields.
Chief Executive of Cyberjaya College Kuching, Doreen Tan, said that the college currently offers a franchised Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health in collaboration with the University of Cyberjaya, and will soon introduce a Bachelor of Business Administration, also in partnership with the university.
“These programmes demonstrate our commitment to broadening academic offerings and giving students access to competitive, industry-relevant degrees,” Doreen said during the college’s 11th Convocation Ceremony at Dewan Kompleks Islam Sarawak today.
She informed that the college currently offers 11 fully established academic programmes, covering disciplines such as Business Studies, Occupational Safety and Health, Healthcare Management, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology and Environmental Health.
“These programmes are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required in today’s evolving job market,” she added.
Addressing the graduating class of 2025, Doreen said that the convocation day stamped the result of their hard work and dedication.
“Remember to honour those who supported you – your family, friends, mentors and lecturers. Your journey of learning and becoming better never truly ends,” she asserted.
She also encouraged graduates to reflect on the qualities they have developed – resilience, discipline, curiosity and commitment to growth which will guide them in both personal and professional pursuits.
Meanwhile, Doreen urged alumni to remain connected to the college.
“We encourage our alumni to remain engaged and help uphold the value of the diplomas they earn today,” she said.
