KUCHING: The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) is set to host its DBKU Customer Day programme on May 19 to allow city residents to engage and interact with the council.

According to a press statement, the hustle of daily routines in dealing with various agencies is one of the challenges faced by city residents and communities.

“Despite the availability of online applications, face-to-face services for obtaining more accurate and transparent information remain the choice for some members of the public, especially in municipal matters.

“Therefore, DBKU is providing an opportunity for city residents and the community to engage with DBKU through the DBKU Customer Day programme, which will be held on May 19 from 8am to 12pm at Kuching Waterfront, here,” DBKU said on Friday (May 17).

Additionally, besides the Customer Day programme, DBKU is also organising the Kuching Car Free Morning (KCFM) on the same morning.

“Thus, the public are reminded to plan their journeys accordingly. KCFM is increasingly popular with everyone as it is a leisurely recreational programme that also educates the public on the importance of protecting the environment for future generations and overall wellbeing.”

Among the highlight of the programme on this upcoming Sunday is The Malaysia Book of Record Attempt for Most Participants Wearing Ethnic Attire in a Choreographed Dance Performance.

The organisation of this programme is a collaboration between Rotary District 3310, the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Affin Bank and DBKU.
