KUCHING: A focused team of 21 swimmers from Power Aquatics Swimming Club (PASC) shone brightly at the SportExcel/MILO/NSC/MAS Swimming Circuit 2025 Grand Final held from November 7 to 9 at the National Aquatic Centre, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
The young athletes brought home a total of 25 medals – 13 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze – to help PASC secure fourth place overall in the standings.
Their dedication and hard work were evident as they also set four new meet records.
PASC adviser, Voon Yong Hui, praised the team’s effort, describing the performance as an excellent achievement.
“Our young swimmers’ performance was excellent. Their hard work has paid off. A few young swimmers are targeting for next year’s Malaysia Games (SUKMA),” he told Sarawak Tribune when contacted today.

Voon highlighted that although the team was small, with only 21 swimmers, their performance was commendable.
The club in its Facebook page gave special recognition to meet record-breakers, Sheamus Chew Heng Yi, Elisha Lee Ern, and Ethan Tan Kheng Hong, who each contributed outstanding swims to the club’s success.
The club expressed pride in every swimmer’s determination and team spirit, encouraging them to continue chasing their dreams and making waves for PASC.
“Your dedication, determination and team spirit truly shone through, resulting in an impressive medal haul and remarkable record-breaking swims.
“We’re immensely proud of every single performance. Keep chasing your dreams and making waves for the club,” the club said.
