GAZA: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 72,783 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, with majority of the victims were women and children, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported, citing medical sources.
At least 172,779 others have also been injured.
This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews, it reported.
Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, the number of those killed and injured has reached 890 and 2,677, respectively. At least 776 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.– BERNAMA-WAFA
