KOTA SAMARAHAN: Twenty worn-out vehicles and a pile of tyres along Mile 8, Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, caught on fire at midnight.
It was reported that the incident happened near a hardware store.
A spokesman from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Kota Samarahan and Batu Lintang stations were despatched to the scene after receiving a distress call around 12.45am.
Upon arriving, the team confirmed that the flames did not cause any structural damage.
The fire was brought under control and successfully extinguished at around 1.30am.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred is still under investigation.
