KUCHING: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today visited Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) photographer Razali Nordin, 54, who is currently receiving treatment at Sarawak General Hospital (HUS).

In a post on his official Facebook page, Fadillah said that Razali is scheduled to undergo heart valve surgery at the Sarawak Heart Centre on May 4.

“To all media practitioners, no matter how busy you are with your duties and responsibilities, take care of your health. Work is important, but health is even more important – take good care of yourselves,” said Fadillah, who is also the Member of Parliament for Petra Jaya.

Razali, who has served in Sarawak for more than 20 years, has faced various health complications, including heart issues, kidney stones, kidney problems and diabetes.

Two days ago, Razali, better known as Yop among his media colleagues, was rushed to HUS from his home in Taman Sukma with the assistance of the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) from the Petra Jaya fire station. – BERNAMA
