MIRI: Police detained a local man in possession of drugs worth about RM4, 200 in Tudan here early Wednesday morning.
Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah said, a team of police personnel from Miri Criminal Investigation Department (CID) led by ASP Unang Giang were conducting a raid at a house in Lorong Kiambang 6,Tudan Phase 3 around 12.30am when they made the discovery.
Inspection carried out found transparent packets containing what looked to be methamphetanine crystals weighing 42 grammes.
Also seized were four units of luxury wrist watches, cash amounting to RM3,800, an electronic weighing scale and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
The suspect aged 31, and the seized drugs have been brought to Miri Central police station for further action.
The case is being investigated under Section 39A of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
