SINGER Iqbal Zulkefli has admitted that securing actress Diana Danielle for his latest music video, “Undur Diri”, was no easy feat. The 31-year-old artiste recently revealed that he had to offer Diana a substantial five-figure fee to feature in the video. “For every artiste I collaborate with, I pay a five-figure sum.
I handled everything from start to finish — Diana only needed to show up for the shoot,” he explained. “The total budget for this project was RM200,000. Being an artiste really costs a lot of money.” Iqbal dismissed claims that he selected Diana to exploit her ongoing domestic issues.
Diana, a mother of two and wife to actor Farid Kamil, is currently in the midst of divorce proceedings. “I simply asked Diana if she was interested in appearing in the video, and she agreed,” he stated.
