KUCHING: Emergency responders successfully talked down a local man from self-harm at Sarawak General Hospital’s (SGH) parking building on Monday night (May 18).
Firefighters from Batu Lintang station were dispatched to the scene following a distress call at 8.20 pm.
Upon arrival, they found the man, believed to be in his 40s, in a distressed state at the upper level of the building.
The team managed to calm and persuade him to move to safety. He was later handed over to police for further action.
